HII-Mission Technologies Division is seeking a part-time Training Systems Specialist that will work remotely with experience supporting DoD and Acquisition programs. We are looking for someone with a passion for solving complex problems, developing solutions in fast-paced environments, and supporting diverse teams in addressing hard problems. This position will be eligible for remote work and will have extensive global travel requirements. The Future Tankers Program Office within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) is responsible for planning, developing, and sustaining the Air Force’s aerial refueling capability to meet current and future operational needs. Its mission is to ensure the USAF can maintain global reach, sustain combat operations, and adapt to evolving threats through both modernization of existing tankers and development of next-generation systems. This position leads a team of subject matter experts in the performance of a Training Systems Requirement Analysis for the KC-46A Pegasus aircraft to analyze available training capabilities and identify efficiencies to meet an expansion in student throughput requirements. The goal is to utilize various training methods such as flight simulators, part task trainers, and computer-based training to find efficiencies where total flight hours in simulators could otherwise be accomplished using alternate and more cost effective training measures.
