The Training Supervisor will be responsible for the direct onsite management of instructional personnel, including approving timesheets and assisting the Regional Training Manager with interviewing, hiring, training, disciplining, and termination of associates. This role involves assisting with the implementation of instructors' daily student assignments, training schedules, and curriculum to maintain ratios, balance training, and maximize equipment usage. The supervisor will also be responsible for completing documentation and student attendance records, ensuring accurate data entries in company databases, and maintaining equipment files and Salesforce entries. Approximately 70% of the work duties will be completed on the training pad/road, and 30% will be administrative tasks. The role requires ensuring all vehicles receive pre-trip inspections, monitoring instructors' teaching processes for consistency with best practices, and accurately reporting student progress or issues. The supervisor will also assist in decision-making regarding student training needs, implement the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy, and maintain the appearance and condition of training equipment and safety zones. A key responsibility is the continuous training and evaluation of instructors to ensure their success and cross-training for proficiency in all required curriculum areas. The supervisor is also responsible for managing instructors' work schedules, including breaks and lunch, and reporting any inaccuracies immediately to the Regional Training Manager. On the road, the supervisor will ensure adherence to approved routes and lesson plans, monitor instructors' road instruction, and oversee vehicle inspections and DVIRs.
