About The Position

The Training Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering training programs that ensure PrimeFlight employees meet airline, regulatory, and company standards. This role partners closely with station leadership, airline representatives, and operational teams to support workforce readiness, compliance, and continuous improvement. The Training Specialist exercises independent judgment in organizing training activities, monitoring training effectiveness, and adapting programs to evolving operational and airline requirements while promoting a strong culture of safety, service, and learning.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or high school diploma or equivalent may be substituted with two or more year’s relevant experience in the training environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and improve training programs to meet airline, regulatory, and company requirements
  • Exercise independent judgment in determining training methods, delivery approaches, and scheduling priorities
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to leadership and airline partners
  • Ensure all new hires are trained in classroom and on the job training
  • Maintain training files and records
  • Ensure and conduct all recurrent training
  • Keep in communication with airlines in reference to new training standards and compliance with current specifications
  • Handle any reports or information requested by Station Management
  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
  • Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, conveyer belts and forklift, as needed
  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
