About The Position

The Training Specialist – QMS is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that ensure both QuikStor team members and customers are confident, capable, and effective users of QuikStor Management Software (QMS). This role sits at the intersection of product knowledge, implementation, and education. You will create and maintain training materials, deliver live training sessions, host webinars, and ensure internal teams stay current on new features, workflows, and releases. While this role supports internal enablement, its primary focus is client education and training, ensuring customers understand how QMS works, how to apply best practices, and how to fully adopt new functionality as the platform evolves. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can work through ambiguity, and takes ownership of turning complex system changes into clear, actionable learning experiences.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in training, instructional design, learning & development, or customer education (software or SaaS preferred).
  • Proven experience delivering live training (webinars, workshops, or instructor-led sessions).
  • Strong ability to translate complex systems into clear, easy-to-follow learning content.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in environments where processes and systems are evolving.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership without heavy oversight.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience training customers on SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, or operational software.
  • Experience supporting software releases, migrations, or platform rollouts.
  • Industry familiarity: self-storage, property management software, accounting systems, or access control solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver customer-facing training for QMS, including live virtual training sessions and webinars, one-on-one and small-group client training, and train-the-trainer sessions for customer teams.
  • Develop structured training paths for new customers, existing customers, and customers adopting new features.
  • Translate complex system workflows into clear, role-based training for owners, managers, accounting staff, and operations teams.
  • Partner with Implementation and Support to identify training gaps that impact onboarding, adoption, and long-term success.
  • Develop and deliver training for QuikStor team members, ensuring consistent understanding of QMS workflows, terminology, and best practices.
  • Ensure internal teams (Implementation, Customer Success, Support, Sales) are trained and up to date on new product releases, feature enhancements, and workflow changes and known limitations.
  • Support internal release readiness by preparing enablement materials ahead of deployments.
  • Perform training needs assessments by reviewing product documentation, release notes, recordings, and SME input.
  • Design and maintain training assets, including slide decks and facilitator guides, user guides, job aids, and quick reference materials, video tutorials and recorded webinars, and knowledge checks and supporting documentation.
  • Apply adult learning and instructional design principles (e.g., ADDIE) to create structured, effective training.
  • Continuously update training content as QMS evolves and requirements change.
  • Maintain a centralized training library to ensure consistency across all training materials.
  • Track training attendance, completion, and feedback to measure effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve training efficiency, clarity, and scalability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure training aligns with real-world workflows and customer needs.
