HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? As a Training Specialist II, you will play a key role in strengthening workforce capability by designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful training programs. You will partner with leadership to support strategic initiatives, enhance employee performance, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in training, learning & development, or organizational development, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness using data, feedback, and performance metrics
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to partner effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Analytical thinking with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Identify organizational training needs through collaboration with leadership and functional teams
  • Assess skill gaps and define critical competencies for managerial, supervisory, and staff roles
  • Design, develop, and implement engaging training programs, including instructor-led and e-learning modules
  • Deliver effective classroom and virtual training sessions using adult learning principles
  • Develop and maintain a core curriculum for supervisory and leadership development
  • Partner with leaders to co-facilitate training and embed learning into business practices
  • Create evaluation tools (assessments, surveys, performance metrics) to measure training effectiveness
  • Provide coaching and follow-up support to reinforce learning and ensure application on the job
  • Build and implement leadership development programs to grow internal talent pipelines
  • Develop learning objectives, lesson plans, facilitator guides, and supporting materials
  • Research and incorporate external training resources and best practices
  • Support organizational development initiatives, including team effectiveness and change management efforts
  • Develop onboarding and orientation programs tailored to functional teams
  • Maintain accurate training records, including certifications, test results, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of training data within the learning management system or database
  • Support training-related projects and meet established timelines and deliverables
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to department initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and all safety regulations
