Training Producer

Blank MetalMinneapolis, MN
Hybrid

About The Position

As our Training Producer, you are the person who makes each training experience great. You're the single point of contact for everyone involved: Blank Metal trainers, supporting staff, and the client. For everything that isn't the teaching itself. You run the logistics, you run the communications, and you make sure the dozen small things that have to go right actually go right, every time. This is an early-career role with real ownership from day one. You won't be handed a polished playbook. Instead, you'll help build one. If you like being the calm center of a live event and you take pride in details other people never notice, this is a seat where that instinct matters every single week.

Requirements

  • Some experience running live or virtual sessions — events, webinars, training, classroom support, AV/production, or anything where the show had to go on while you held it together.
  • You're organized to the point that other people notice. You track the moving pieces and nothing falls through.
  • You stay calm when something breaks live, and you fix it without the audience ever knowing.
  • You write clearly and warmly — the kind of attendee email people actually read and a client note that reassures.
  • You're comfortable owning a checklist that doesn't fully exist yet, and you'd rather build the missing piece than complain about it.

Nice To Haves

  • You've used Zoom (breakouts, polls), Eventbrite, or survey tools, and you're genuinely curious about AI — you'll be in the room for every Claude training we run.

Responsibilities

  • Own the run of every training
  • Be the point person for each training — the one Blank Metal and the client both come to for anything logistics-related, before, during, and after the session.
  • Make sure everyone supporting a training knows their role, what's expected of them, and gets their pieces done on time.
  • Run the live session behind the scenes: configure Zoom correctly, work the chat and surface the right questions to the trainers, prep and launch polls, trigger breakout rooms, and quietly round up anyone who gets lost.
  • Open each session with a short, scripted overview of Blank Metal so attendees know who they're learning from.
  • Own the communication around it
  • Handle the full arc of attendee communication — invitations and Eventbrite setup, expectation-setting before the session, and surveys and follow-ups after.
  • Keep clients clear on what's happening and what we need from them ahead of each training.
  • Set participants up to show up ready, so the live time is spent learning, not troubleshooting setup.
  • Keep us honest on the details
  • Fulfill partner requirements — for example, providing participant counts to Anthropic for Claude Code trainings.
  • Capture the final participant count and keep the records straight for every session.
  • Be honest-startup scrappy: some of this isn't documented yet, so when you spot a step that lives in someone's head or a process that breaks under pressure, you write it down and fix it instead of working around it.
