Evaluates and implements training procedures and training activities of the fire department units and their personnel. Develops and maintains a current overall training program that is compliant with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, International Fire Service Accreditation Congress, and compatible with National Fire Protection Association Codes and standards and to ensure its implementation through written reports, drills, refresher, and continuing education training as required. Maintains comprehensive and compliant records for inspection by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and the United States Coast Guard.
