Ready to lead, innovate, and elevate clinical training across Maryland's premier reproductive healthcare team? Planned Parenthood of Maryland (PPM) is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and adult-learning-focused Training Manager to lead training and development for our non-licensed clinical support staff - primarily Medical Assistants (MAs) and clinical support team members - across our seven health centers and telehealth operations. If you are an experienced learning and development leader passionate about building sustainable, skills-based training pathways, empowering trainers and preceptors, and ensuring an uncompromising standard of high-quality, patient-centered care, we want you on our team! Inside the Role Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations, the Training Manager serves as the strategic architect and operational leader of our clinical training programs. In this role, you will design, implement, and evaluate a standardized, competency-based learning model that combines classroom instruction, virtual modules, clinical simulation, and structured on-the-job precepting. You will directly supervise and coach a team of Health Center Trainers, cultivate a robust site-based preceptor network, and partner cross-departmentally with Health Center Managers, HR, Clinical Leadership, and Operations. Your mission is to create scalable, high-impact training pathways that shorten time-to-competency, boost new-hire retention, and ensure consistent clinical standards across all PPM health centers.
