About The Position

As the Training Manager, you will play a pivotal role on our team by ensuring the on-going training of Property Managers and Assistant Property Managers within a dedicated region. In this role, you will have responsibility of upholding Glacier West operational standards through effective communication, coaching, and training. You will also collaborate closely with your District Manager to support consistent adherence to policies and procedures across all assigned facilities. It's important to note that this role will be in addition to your current duties. Properties Covered to be Determined as Business Needs Arise

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Skilled in using office programs such as Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards operationally and professionally.
• Dependable and Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• The ability to efficiently maintain standards and procedures at your assigned property as well as assisting other property teams maintain their own.
• Must not have received any corrective action within the prior 6 months of applying (exceptions can be made at DMs or VPs discretion).
• All applicants must reside within the North Sound geographical area

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of related experience in the self-storage industry is highly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding Training: After a new employee joins our team, you will ensure they receive thorough training on Glacier West Self Storage's procedures and standards. Your goal is to make sure new hires have a positive onboarding and training experience.
• Administrative: You will serve as the main point of contact for requests such as discounts, allowances, and refunds on Tenant accounts and procedural questions related to the day-to-day tasks of a Property Manager.
• Ongoing Training: You will be responsible for supporting training our current property staff when new objectives and procedures are rolled out as well as when standards are not being met or procedures are not being followed.
