About The Position

This position is contingent upon contract award. We are seeking highly experienced Training Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) training program management to reinforce consistency and standardization across subordinate commands. The ideal candidates will leverage deep operational and training expertise to oversee readiness reporting, manage skill tracking systems, and provide high-level briefing support to MESF leadership. This role requires a blend of traditional naval expeditionary warfare knowledge and modern, forward-thinking technical skills, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) productivity tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of operational, training, and readiness experience with a validated naval warfare qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience utilizing the Readiness and Cost Reporting System (RCRP) and/or ERAS.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and advanced user capabilities in the Advanced Skills Management (ASM) system.
  • High proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional oral briefing and technical writing skills, with a proven track record of effectively engaging and collaborating with senior military leadership, staff officers, and personnel across the community of interest.
  • AI Literacy: Demonstrated fluency in utilizing civilian and/or governmental Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistants to optimize administrative efficiency, drafting, and data analysis.
  • Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference will be given to candidates with direct experience within the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) or Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) communities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary conduit for information to ECHELON FIVE and SIX Training Officers, providing recommendations on training policy, process, TTP, instructional methods, and plans.
  • Support MESG ONE N7 in managing, reviewing, and updating training and readiness status for all assigned ECHELON FIVE and SIX units of action (UoAs) within the Expeditionary Reporting Assessment System (ERAS).
  • Support MESG ONE N7 in Naval message writing for Readiness communication up and down ECHELON for assigned UoAs.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Representative (SMR) in support of Deployment Certification for ECHELON FIVE and SIX units, evaluating command, unit, and individual readiness in coordination with MESG ONE N7 and MESTEU.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight of training pipelines for incoming Sailors, offering guidance to ECHELON FIVE N7 staff, instructors, and training managers.
  • Validate, in coordination with ECHELON FIVE N7, the scheduling and execution of ranges, facilities, and equipment training opportunities to enable efficient progression through all phases of each UoA's OFRP.
  • Deliver recurring reports (monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual) to MESG ONE N7 leadership on unit training performance, readiness gaps, and recommendations.
  • Conduct analysis of Naval Reserve manpower and Individual Augmentee assignment for premobilization training in support of GFM readiness production for MESG ONE N7.
