About The Position

The Training & Education Coordinator Patient Transport is responsible for maintaining team work and providing consistent training for new teammates. This role involves planning, scheduling, and adjusting training as needed, monitoring new teammate quality, and coaching as necessary. The coordinator ensures training materials are up-to-date and responsible for continuing education in-services and coaching of all teammates. They also communicate process updates and complete teammate assessments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Attends and participates in meetings with leadership to maintain team work and provide consistent training.
  • Communicates progress/shift updates and expresses any concerns or needs.
  • Requests and assures teammate access to all necessary departmental applications.
  • Plans, schedules and adjusts training as needed for each new teammate.
  • Communicates any items that were not able to be covered during orientation.
  • Monitors new teammate quality and coaches as needed.
  • Communicates progress of trainees to leadership.
  • Ensures training materials are continuously updated to reflect current processes.
  • Responsible for continuing education in-services and coaching of all teammates.
  • Communicates process updates to the teammates.
  • Completes assessment of teammates as needed.
