Exciting new opportunity to start and to join an innovative, community-based behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities services organization located in South Georgia. Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300+ direct-care and support staff. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in providing educational, training, or instructional services in functional area.
• Proven experience as a trainer or similar role
• Good understanding of various teaching methodologies and tools
• Proficient in MS Office
• Good time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical-thinker and problem-solver

Nice To Haves

• Experience with an e-learning software is a plus.
• Instructor experience or current certifications.
• CPI
• BLS
• CPR
• First Aid
• AAA
• QPR

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to determine training needs.
• Conduct seminars, workshops, training sessions etc.
• Prepare educational material such as module summaries and videos
• Support and mentor new employees
• Plan and schedule training sessions
• Design and implement training programs.
• Select and book venues as needed.
• Track and keep employee attendance.
• Monitor and present employee performance.
• Will perform HR duties as assigned when not instructing
