About The Position

This role involves developing training materials for the FITT Program at Ft Rucker, AL. The Training Developer will report directly to the FITT Program Manager and will be responsible for reviewing, revising, or creating Points of Instruction (POIs), Lesson Plans (LPs), and Course Administrative Data (CADs) or equivalent documentation within the Training Development Capability (TDC) system. The individual will also support the FITT Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager with additional contract-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Familiarity with TR 350-70, Army Learning Policy and Systems and its supporting pamphlets.
• Training Development Capability (TDC): The ability to effectively and efficiently use TDC to review, revise or create POIs and LPs.
• Five (5) + years of experience with knowledge in developing lesson plans, Programs of Instruction (POIs), and education product development in the institutional domain.
• Personable and professional demeanor with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Office software applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the Internet, etc.).
• Experience creating, reviewing, editing & formatting large documents i.e. reports, manuals, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines/time frames.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload (and adjust when needed).
• Ability to compile data from records and reports and conduct basic review.

Responsibilities

• Review, revise or create the POIs, LPs, and CADs or other identified equivalent in TDC.
• Accomplish additional tasks related to this contract as assigned by the FITT Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
