About The Position

Cyber B.A.T. is seeking a Training Course Developer-Instructor – COMINT to support the development and delivery of mission-critical training and capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with a current Maryland Polygraph.
  • 2 or more years of instructional experience and/or curriculum development, including military or government training, formal classroom instruction, mission qualification training, On-the-Job (OJT) instruction, mentoring, or development of instructional materials and courses.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical science major (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or comparable area), 4 or more years of COMINT/SIGINT collection, processing, exploitation, and analysis experience within the past 10 years.
  • If the candidate does not have a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical science major (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or comparable area), 6 or more years of COMINT/SIGINT experience within the past 10 years.
  • Must be a 450/451/452 graduate
  • Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following: COMINT collection, processing, exploitation, and analysis

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for course development and instruction on the collection, processing, exploitation, and analysis of Communications Intelligence (COMINT) to identify and assess communications activity, networks, systems, capabilities, limitations, and operational characteristics.
  • Draft analytical/exploitation findings for integration into signals databases of COMINT-derived intelligence to Intelligence Community (IC) customers through appropriate intelligence reporting, technical documentation, and other approved reporting formats.
  • Providing operational analysis and technical support and resolving assigned tasks to completion.
  • Processing and analyzing communications data using collection and processing systems, analytic tools, intelligence reports, databases, and display tools.
  • Analyzing communications systems and networks to develop an understanding of communications activity, system characteristics, operational patterns, and relationships between communications entities.
  • Conducting COMINT analysis using appropriate computer software and hardware; analyzing communications data to identify relevant characteristics, patterns, and relationships in support of operational intelligence assessments.
  • Identifying, characterizing, and analyzing communications signals and activity to support the development of accurate and timely intelligence.
  • Using COMINT terminology and documenting cohesive analytic findings in accordance with established SIGINT reporting standards and Intelligence Community practices.
  • Developing accurate communications chronologies and determining relationships between related communications, signals, entities, events, and activities.
  • Correlating communications activity with other available intelligence sources and reporting to support a comprehensive understanding of operational environments.
  • Maintaining expertise in COMINT and staying current on relevant communications technologies, collection methodologies, analytic techniques, and mission requirements.
  • Soliciting and receiving course feedback from students and other people and timely incorporating appropriate feedback into courses and presentations.
  • Developing new COMINT courses, modules, exercises, and presentations while ensuring the accuracy and currency of existing courses and training materials.
  • Using good communication skills when working with others in the development, presentation, and updating of COMINT teaching and course material.
