Requirements

  • Grade 12, or equivalency program
  • Two years’ experience in training coordination, learning & development, or similar role
  • Experience with training systems and continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Strong organization and coordination capability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training systems (Workday LMS preferred)
  • Knowledge of industrial safety training programs (e.g., confined space, mobile equipment)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver frontline technical, operational, and safety training programs
  • Lead new employee orientation in coordination with site leadership
  • Coordinate all aspects of training including scheduling, attendance, and logistics
  • Maintain training systems, records, and databases with a high level of accuracy
  • Develop and update training materials (classroom, online, and OJT)
  • Support LMS implementation and ongoing system improvements
  • Act as a key resource to plant leadership, supporting training priorities and workforce development
  • Influence training outcomes through strong engagement and collaboration with site teams
  • Monitor and report on training effectiveness and workforce competency
  • Identify and recommend improvements to training programs, systems, and delivery approaches
  • Partner with the broader Canadian Training team to drive consistency and best practices
