About The Position

In this role, you will support the Senior Director of Operations in advancing the growth, structure, and long-term sustainability of the agency’s Learning & Development department. You will play a key role in ensuring training initiatives are implemented efficiently, aligned with organizational goals, and responsive to compliance requirements and staff development needs.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent or greater.
  • 2+ years of experience in training coordination, program coordination, or administrative support (nonprofit or social services preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of or ability to learn CCL licensing, CARF, and DOJ OVC requirements and training compliance standards.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple trainings, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with tracking systems or databases (e.g., Google Classroom & Clarity)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments
  • Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed practices and serving survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking
  • In possession of a valid CA driver's license, proof of insurance, and be approved by RP insurance as a driver in order to drive agency vehicles. If a staff member cannot be approved by RP insurance as a driver, employment might not be able to continue. Instances where staff cannot be approved to drive will be reviewed on a case by case basis to determine if employment can continue in their role without driving agency vehicles. Items considered include but are not limited to: the shift the staff member holds and the frequency/necessity of driving during that shift, the amount of time before the staff member may be approved to drive by the insurance carrier, the availability of other staff on site to drive agency vehicles as program needs require, etc.
  • Able to complete all required background checks. Additional requirements may be deemed necessary, including fingerprinting (Live Scan), completion of all Community Care Licensing (CCL) documents, and ability to meet CCL licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule agency-wide trainings, workshops, and Domestic Violence & Human Trafficking (DV/HT) training cohorts
  • Support training compliance efforts by tracking completion, maintaining records, and ensuring alignment with Community Care Licensing (CCL) requirements
  • Manage logistics for trainings, including calendars, registrations, materials, attendance tracking, and follow-up documentation
  • Coordinate and monitor First Aid/CPR trainings, ensuring staff complete both virtual and in-person components within required timelines
  • Collaborate with program leadership to identify training needs and support implementation of learning and development initiatives
  • Maintain training databases, systems, and physical files (e.g., Google Classroom & Clarity) to ensure accurate and up-to-date compliance records
  • Assist with audits, site visits, and reporting by preparing training documentation and compliance verification materials
  • Complete functional timesheets by assigned due dates in compliance with time allocations.
  • Actively participate in reflective supervision sessions.
  • Create and maintain documentation of processes and procedures related to job duties.
