Onsite position in Thorp WI. 7am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday. OT as needed on Fridays.

Requirements

  • Multi-tasking between office and production floor settings.
  • Competent PC skills
  • Proficient in M.S. Suites
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to speak publicly and conduct group training.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for periods of time is required.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience in manufacturing setting working in a similar role

Responsibilities

  • Work proactively with Operations Managers and Production Supervisor to identify the areas of training needs and ensure compliance.
  • Create and update SOP's, work instructions, and training materials to reflect continuous improvements and quality and safety requirements.
  • Acquire and maintain familiarity with critical operations and product usage to help improve processes and support training.
  • Retrieve documentation and ensure that all Production team members are trained to current revision of all required documents.
  • Ensure all training documentation in use on the production floor are at the current revision.
  • Accurately maintain training records.
  • Compile and maintain manufacturing training matrix.
  • Audit pay for skill program proficiency.
  • Conduct periodic training-focused audits to include but not limited to the following: Verify documentation is correct, current, available, and easily retrievable. Check that operators are fully qualified and operating against current revision. Check that operators are following procedures correctly. Operators have sufficient understanding of processes.
  • Solicit ideas for improved productivity and quality from operators and play an active role with team members to implement approved changes.
