About The Position

The Training Business Partner role is part of a global R&D function called Operations and Processes – Training and Communications. This is a global role that supports training delivery to over 2000 Research & Development (R&D) employees across Haleon’s R&D organization. The Training Business Partner drives training deployment and communication to employees across R&D sites and countries in accordance with industry requirements. It collaborates with functional leads, business processes and systems owners to develop and implement agile, fit for purpose, cost effective, engaging and learner-focused training initiatives for R&D employees.

Requirements

  • University degree in science-related field with a minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and/or consumer healthcare/goods industry.
  • Knowledge and experience with minimum 4 years in training and communication.
  • Confidence working with learning management systems, digital tools and Microsoft Office package.
  • Experience developing training materials using training content development tools and software.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, critical thinking and proven influencing skills with a broad range of colleagues including senior management.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of defined deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage process to ensure appropriate training is assigned to all R&D employees including assessing curricula and capability training requirements as roles evolve, or as individuals change responsibilities. Training assignments include, but are not limited to written standards, ways of working, business systems, product overview, industry guidelines, capability training.
  • Partner with functional leads to ensure central vendors conducting activities on behalf of key R&D functions such as Consumer Safety, Clinical Development etc. are trained on the appropriate procedures.
  • Support, design and roll out engaging, high-quality training materials and initiatives in a variety of delivery methods that enables fast adoption by using various training design and communications tools.
  • Optimization of existing training resources leading to more effective learning based on end users’ role in the procedures (process change awareness versus “just in time” execution learning). Delivery includes but not limited to written communication, creation of visual assets, delivery of live training sessions.
  • Provide audit and regulatory inspection support across R&D by providing timely documentation and supporting the implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to meet required timelines or ensure audit/inspection readiness.
