About The Position

DT Professional Services is seeking a Training and Development Specialist (Management Analyst I) to join their team in Port Hueneme, CA. This role will provide support and assume responsibilities for Office of Workforce Development programs, including the command’s competency training program and workforce development internal and external programming.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, SharePoint Online, Power Point, and Adobe PDF.
Experience within a customer service and professional office setting.
Proactive, highly organized, and consistently punctual, with a strong track record of producing high-quality work within established timelines.
Takes initiative and collaborates effectively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.
Previous experience within training and development.
Experience with U.S. Navy systems and platforms, such as Flank Speed and Navy Waypoints.

Responsibilities

Conduct research for programs and opportunities available to the workforce for further development training opportunities for the general workforce.
Assist with various aspects of training classes such as opening classes and other associated tasks in support of the competencies and Command Interest Program Managers.
Provide Waypoints training and information to the workforce.
Develop and maintain various metrics.
Create documents such as SOPs and Statements of Work.
Other duties assigned.
