North Wind Services is seeking individuals to support national security within science, technology, and engineering fields as part of their supplemental labor team at federal research and development installations for the Department of Energy. North Wind Services (NWS) has a history of contributing to customer missions and offers opportunities ranging from administrative to advanced technical roles. Applicants must be US citizens, at least 18 years old, and meet pre-employment requirements including physicals, drug screens, and background investigations for Department of Energy clearance. Successful candidates will be employees of NWS, a contractor focused on employing motivated personnel to advance the missions of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). While employed by NWS, employees will take day-to-day direction from LLNL technical personnel. NWS handles pay, benefits, and HR functions. The Strategic Deterrence Directorate has an opening for a Technical Training and Development Specialist to enhance the directorate's training program using current training technology and adult learning theory. The candidate will work within regulatory requirements and operational demands, applying instructional systems design experience and technical aptitude to conduct needs and task analyses for technical positions. They will design, develop, and implement courses and curricula for Laboratory employees in high-risk environments.
