Job Summary The Training and Development Lead will be responsible for executing business focused initiatives such as succession planning, performance management, front line leadership training, coaching, and career development, as well as the management and measurement of training and development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources or related field.
  • 5-7 years of related experience in an OD, Training, or Learning and Development role
  • Strong training facilitation skills (virtual and in-person).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong internal client service skills with highly reliable follow-through on inquiries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate training classroom sessions (virtual and in-person) related to performance management, leadership, and professional development programs.
  • Program manager of various curriculums, including annual compliance training, to ensure completion and effectiveness of programs across the organization.
  • Manage recruiting and development activities related to early career development programs, including rotational programs.
  • Coordinate leadership and professional development programs and front-line leaders’ professional development.
  • Analyze and coordinate system reporting for measuring training effectiveness and informing stakeholder communications.
  • Administer and manage the organization’s LMS platform, including evaluating system upgrades and improvements.
  • Administer and manage the performance management system, including annual goal setting and performance review processes.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of vendor partners related to training, performance management, and leadership/professional development/coaching.
  • Conduct needs assessments to determine specific training gaps/needs by business unit and function.
  • Update training programs to meet the ongoing training needs of the organization.
  • Other support duties as required.
