About The Position

Oats Overnight is seeking a Training & Development Intern to support the Director of Training and Development. This role involves special projects, administrative support, and hands-on exposure to training program design and coordination. The intern will gain experience in curriculum support, LMS administration, and training coordination within a fast-paced consumer packaged goods environment. This position is an excellent entry point into Learning & Development (L&D), supporting onboarding, compliance, and operational training by helping build learning content, assisting with UKG Learning administration, and understanding how the training function partners with Operations leadership. The role requires working both at a computer and on the production floor.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (HR, Business, Education, Communications, or related field).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple small projects at once.
  • Proactive, reliable, and a self-starter who follows through.
  • Clear communicator who can work well with people across departments.
  • A relentless drive to get things done.
  • Flexible, willing, and quick to learn new processes, new technology, and new ways of thinking.
  • Arizona residents only.

Nice To Haves

  • No prior L&D experience required.
  • Eager to learn new tools and processes (Articulate, UKG Learning) — no experience with these required going in.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building eLearning modules and training materials in Articulate (Storyline/Rise) under guidance from the Director.
  • Help translate SOPs and work instructions into clean, organized training content drafts.
  • Support formatting, editing, and version control of training materials as they're updated.
  • Assist with data entry and updates in UKG Learning (assigning curricula, tracking completions).
  • Pull and organize completion/compliance reports for the Director's review.
  • Help maintain accurate, up-to-date training records.
  • Support upkeep of the training calendar and help flag scheduling conflicts across Safety, Quality, HR, and Ops calendars.
  • Assist with logistics for instructor-led sessions (scheduling, room/material prep, communications).
  • Take on special projects assigned by the Director — process documentation, research, presentation building, ad hoc analysis.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Training & Development function.
  • Help prepare materials and logistics for Day One orientation.
  • Support onboarding coordination for new hires alongside HRBP/Generalist team.
  • Support a culture of food safety and GMP compliance across the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
