About The Position

Burwood Group is seeking a Training & Development Consultant to join their Training team. This role is a contract-to-hire position responsible for developing and delivering dynamic and informative training for clients. The consultant will conduct assessments to determine training needs, strategically design comprehensive training solutions, align technologies and processes, design and develop training content, deliver training both in-person and online, and provide supervision and guidance on training project implementation.

Requirements

  • Strong background in training, organization development, or instructional design, preferably working for a consulting company.
  • Advanced knowledge of e-learning development and web conferencing tools.
  • Understanding of adult education theories, ADDIE model and related instructional design concepts.
  • Flexible work style, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience conducting assessments to identify skill gaps, training needs, cultural resistance, etc.
  • Experience designing custom training and organization development solutions.
  • Experience delivering trainings in person and online.
  • Accountability for work and dedication to a job well done.
  • Expertise and professionalism to interact and develop relationships with any level of an organization.
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Cisco WebEx.
  • Experience with e-learning development tools like Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia and other related tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting assessments to determine training needs.
  • Strategic design of comprehensive training solutions to meet client’s needs.
  • Aligning technologies and processes/workflows.
  • Designing and developing training content for Burwood’s clients.
  • Delivering training, in-person and online
  • Providing supervision and guidance on training project implementation to the Training Lead, SME, or Program Manager.
