This role is responsible for providing skills training and vocational services to support program goals, including financial sustainability, mission alignment, continuous quality improvement, and marketing. The trainer will recruit eligible participants, assist in developing community work experience and training sites, and make recommendations for training resources. A key focus is delivering high-quality, individualized services aligned with the mission of Goodwill of North Georgia. The position involves training and supervising participants and personnel, maintaining contact with referring counselors, and ensuring smooth transitions between services. The trainer will advocate for participants, help identify employment barriers, develop individual plans, and coordinate referrals to community resources. Accurate documentation of program operations, development of professional plans, and compliance with various regulations are also essential. The role includes maintaining curriculum, participating in advisory meetings, developing partner relationships, researching new training sites, and assisting with other program functions when not instructing.
