About The Position

Securitas is seeking a Trainer to join our team. This full-time position involves training employees, conducting new employee orientation, mandatory licensing training, and on-the-job training, including health and safety practices. The role requires documenting training, collaborating with management to identify training needs, developing training schedules, and organizing training materials. The Trainer will also evaluate training effectiveness and monitor trainee progress. This role is crucial for employee development and ensuring compliance with licensing and client contract requirements.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Proficient computer / technology skills needed.
Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
Excellent written and verbal communication required.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Prior Training/HR experience in an office environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Train employees, conduct new employee orientation, mandatory licensing training, on-the-job training, along with training in health and safety practices.
Document training as required for purposes of licensing and under the terms of client contracts.
Work with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches.
Develop training schedule in conjunction with management to coordinate training activities.
Follow appropriate instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, etc.
Organize training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation materials, multimedia visual aids, and other education materials.
Maintain records and prepare reports to evaluate the performance of training activities, and to monitor the progress of trainees.
Perform tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.
