Securitas is seeking a Trainer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be organized with strong communication skills and a passion for developing others. They must be comfortable facilitating classroom and hands-on training, evaluating performance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
Excellent written and verbal communication required.
Must be detailed oriented with good organizational skills.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Proficient understanding of Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, Oracle, etc. preferred.
Prior Training/HR experience in a fast-paced office environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Train employees, conduct new employee orientation, mandatory licensing training, on-the-job training, along with training in health and safety practices.
Document training as required for purposes of licensing and under the terms of client contracts.
Work with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches.
Develop training schedule in conjunction with management to coordinate training activities.
Follow appropriate instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, etc.
Organize training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation materials, multimedia visual aids, and other education materials.
Maintain records and prepare reports to evaluate the performance of training activities, and to monitor the progress of trainees.
Perform tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.
