About The Position
The DST Training Facilitator conducts new Team Member orientation within the Distribution Center and ensures new hires receive the training and support they need to begin their roles successfully. The position covers company policies and procedures, safety and forklift training, and support with facility familiarization and the qualification process. The facilitator also maintains orientation documentation and attendance records, coordinates interpreter assistance when needed, and works to continually improve classroom orientation programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English at a level necessary to effectively communicate company policies and procedures during orientation.
- Must be comfortable presenting information to large groups.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Standard computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Internal candidates must have no written warnings within the previous six months.
- Internal candidates must not have more than six attendance points.
- The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
- Conduct new Team Member orientation covering company policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety and forklift training.
- Continually improve classroom orientation programs.
- Ensure new Team Member documentation is completed accurately and submitted to the appropriate file in a timely manner.
- Accurately track time and attendance for new Team Members while they are in orientation.
- Assess the need for interpreters in various departments and coordinate interpreter assistance to support clear communication.
- Assist new Team Members in becoming familiar with the facility and completing the qualification process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
