About The Position

Motor Vehicle Division’s (MVD) mission is to identify and promote efficient, cost-effective programs that benefit the interests, safety, and well-being of Montana citizens. This occurs through licensing, registering, and regulating the motoring activities of the public. MVD is a critical statewide division responsible to the citizens of Montana. Dedicated staff are committed to public safety through their service, teamwork, and innovation. MVD has offices across the state, as well as over 60 partner locations. MVD continually strives to provide responsive and reliable services for a growing population and with an eye toward the future. This position serves as a hybrid Trainer/Auditor for the Motor Vehicle’s Division. The candidate should be a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to support statewide training, audit functions, and service quality. This position is responsible for developing comprehensive training materials and auditing transactions across MVD, and Authorized Agents to ensure consistency with state laws, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service background with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience creating training materials or instructional resources.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess transaction accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration or related field.
  • Two years job related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain training documents, manuals, guides, and instructional materials.
  • Conduct transaction audits to evaluate accuracy, policy compliance, and adherence to established standards.
  • Ensure consistency in procedures, documentation, and customer service delivery.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource, offering clear and professional communication.
