This opportunity is for a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant Trainee in Hanover, NH, with no prior phlebotomy or medical assistant experience required. The role involves providing full training in phlebotomy and other clinical procedures, offering a chance to start a rewarding healthcare career, develop new skills, and make a direct impact on patient lives. As a trainee, you will provide exceptional care and support, train in venipuncture and other clinical support services, and act as the first point of contact for patients. You will also be responsible for office upkeep, managing patient interactions with empathy and compassion, and utilizing innovative problem-solving skills. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
Strong customer service skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (additional experience with remote teams is a plus).
A proven ability to display confidence and instill trust with patients while delivering individualized, human-centered, customer-focused care.
A proven track record of persisting through change, consistently stepping up to take action on challenges, and learning quickly and effectively when faced with new situations or tasks.

Responsibilities

Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience through patient intake, schedule management, follow-up scheduling, understanding billing and insurance, monitoring patient feedback, and assisting with outreach.
Perform all front-of-house duties including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, printing/paperwork, prepping tests, and meeting service level expectations.
Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, participating in problem-solving, and supporting in-office providers with ad hoc requests.
Master the technology suite including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and the Electronic Medical Record System (1Life) for team and patient interactions and daily tasks.
Perform opening and closing duties and daily office upkeep, including maintaining the appearance of patient and employee spaces, restocking supplies, and organization.
Successfully complete One Medical clinical training and state-required education/certifications within the first six months (One Medical sponsored).
Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire (One Medical sponsored).
Upon successful completion of training and certifications, responsibilities will scale to a Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist role, including providing venipuncture services, performing extended scope duties (e.g., EKGs, vitals, vaccines, swabs), maintaining specimen handling standards, and assisting with patient messages, lab cases, and clerical duties.
