Hirschbach is seeking Trailer Technicians at its Memphis, TN shop to complete preventative maintenance and minor repairs on one of the newest and fully featured fleets.

Requirements

  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Basic computer literacy, especially in relation to diagnostic software and tools
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficiency in English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) required

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years in fleet maintenance preferred
  • Familiarity with Transport Refrigeration Units (TRUs) is preferred
  • CDL A or B preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard inspections of mechanical and electrical components; identify root causes of common failures and complete necessary repairs
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and industry best practices
  • Repair or replace components of standard air brake and suspension systems
  • Install and remove trailer decals as needed
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through clear, professional communication with drivers and driver support staff
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and repair techniques through continuous education and training
  • Help fellow technicians as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
