About The Position

The Trailer Technician transports restroom and shower trailers to customer locations and ensures water, drainage, and electrical systems are operational at installation. The technician performs maintenance and janitorial work on trailers throughout the rental period and transports them back to a United Site Services (USS) branch when the rental ends. The role also involves operating a delivery truck, setting up and breaking down equipment, troubleshooting basic electrical, plumbing, or HVAC issues, and maintaining customer-ready units and required truck logs.

Requirements

• At least two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet the listed physical requirements, including lifting, pushing, and pulling specified weights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and promptly report deficiencies to the shop.
• Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Mechanic or Operations Supervisor/Manager.
• Operate a delivery truck to and from designated work sites using daily routing information.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with the Hub Manager or Office Administrator for instructions and location changes.
• Deliver or pick up comfort stations at event locations and complete equipment setup and breakdown.
• Troubleshoot issues during delivery, servicing, or pickup, including basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Restock paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, and other supplies in serviced units.
• Service and repair comfort stations and clean unit interiors and exteriors.
• Maintain truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
