About The Position

Hirschbach Motor Lines is seeking Trailer Technicians for their Memphis, TN shop. In this role, you will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a modern fleet. Requirements

Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Basic computer literacy, especially in relation to diagnostic software and tools
Proficiency in English communication skills (speaking, reading and writing) required.
Valid Driver’s License required

Nice To Haves

1-2 years in fleet maintenance preferred
Familiarity with Transport Refrigeration Units (TRUs) is preferred
CDL A or B preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Perform standard inspections of mechanical and electrical components; identify root causes of common failures and complete necessary repairs
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and industry best practices
Repair or replace components of standard air brake and suspension systems
Install and remove trailer decals as needed
Deliver outstanding customer service through clear, professional communication with drivers and driver support staff
Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and repair techniques through continuous education and training
Help fellow technicians as needed
Other duties as assigned
