About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Trailer Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Bloomington, CA. If you enjoy troubleshooting mechanical issues and keeping fleet vehicles running reliably, this is a great opportunity to grow your career with a stable national company. 2 years minimum required: Heavy-Duty Diesel or Trailer Airbrake repairs. Only Graveyard 9:00 pm - 5:30 am.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ of hands-on experience performing class 7 - 8 trailer maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations
