About The Position

Timpte is looking for a Trailer Technician at their TIMPTE Customer Support Center in Whitestown, IN. This is a M-F schedule with weekends off, offering a flexible, fast-paced, rewarding environment that values team members. The pay starts at $24.00-$30/hr with quarterly bonus potential of up to $5,000 per year. As a Trailer Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and service trailers of all brands safely and professionally. Requirements

• Mechanic and/or welding experience
• Ability to work in a standing position and/or walk up to 100% of the time
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, and crawl in and out of tubs and trailers
• Ability to work from ladders
• Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. for a distance of 10-50 feet (use two people for objects over 50 lbs.)

Responsibilities

• Replace or repair damaged panels, rails, and traps
• Perform trailer alignments and adjustments
• Repair and replace brakes, cams, and wheel seals
• Welding steel and aluminum
