About The Position
Timpte is looking for a Trailer Technician at their Mankato, MN Customer Support Center. This is a family-oriented company that offers a flexible, fast-paced, and rewarding work environment. The position offers a flexible work schedule with 4-10 hour days and no weekends. The pay starts at $24.00-$30.00/hr with quarterly bonus potential of up to $5,000 per year.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a standing position and/or walk up to 100% of the time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, and crawl in and out of tubs and trailers.
- Ability to work from ladders.
- Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. for a distance of 10-50 feet. Objects over 50lbs, use two people.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and service trailers of all brands in a safe and professional manner.
- Replace or repair damaged panels, rails, and traps.
- Perform trailer alignments and adjustments.
- Repair and replace brakes, cams and wheel seals.
- Welding steel and aluminum.
