About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated skilled diesel truck and trailer mechanics. From beginners to skilled leaders, each technician will be an integral part of keeping America’s freight moving forward through hands-on, in-depth electronic diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum one year on trailer/mechanical experience.
- Repair brake system and axels on trailers/tractors.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Own basic tools.
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of background check and drug test
- Acceptable physical examination
Responsibilities
- Perform accident damage repairs and PM maintenance on trailers and tractors.
- Perform aluminum and steel welding.
- Perform various maintenance on repair tasks on trailers and tractors.
- Properly document and maintain records of equipment.
- Replace trailer panels and sheet metal.
- Repair wood/metal flooring in trailers.
