We are currently searching for a trailer mechanic with 2+ years of mechanical and/or tank trailer repair experience at our Charlotte, NC location!

Requirements

2+ years of mechanical and/or tank trailer repair experience.
Demonstrated skill in diagnosing failures and making repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
Demonstrated skill in tank service and repair.
Demonstrated skill in trailer suspension installation and repair.
Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).
Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole.
Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Nice To Haves

TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience.

Responsibilities

Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
Perform tank service and repair.
Conduct trailer suspension installation and repair.
Inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).
