Requirements
- 2+ years of trailer repair, fleet maintenance, or related mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently

- Experience with commercial trailers, dry vans, or transportation equipment preferred
- Knowledge of DOT inspection and maintenance requirements preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspecting trailers for mechanical, electrical, structural, and safety issues
- Diagnosing and repairing trailer systems and components
- Repairing electrical wiring, lighting, and brake systems
- Servicing pneumatic and air brake systems
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections
- Conducting scheduled maintenance and repairs
- Repairing trailer doors, floors, roofs, walls, and structural components
- Maintaining DOT compliance standards
- Completing repair documentation accurately
- Working independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Following company safety procedures and maintenance standards
