About The Position

Responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on company equipment consisting of preventative maintenance, minor to major repairs to trailers.

Valid and unrestricted Driver’s license
Must have a Toolbox
Ability to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind cab using normally available footholds and handholds.
Ability to move and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to inspect and or wash vehicles.
While performing the responsibilities, the employee is required to talk and listen.
The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of company equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems
Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical and hydraulic malfunctions
Performs P.M. inspections to ensure DOT requirements are met
Assists with road service calls during emergency breakdowns.
Complete required documentation associated with repairing vehicles and documenting parts usage
Assures compliance with all appropriate safety rules and regulations
Other duties as assigned
