We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with tank trailer repair experience, to join our team at our Portland, OR facility! Address : 8801 North Vancouver Avenue, Portland, OR, 97217 Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Pay Range: $27.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Requirements

The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
Tank service and repair
Trailer suspension installation and repair
Experience with air brake systems and repairs
TIG aluminum and steel welding experience
Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
Must be able to work in confined spaces
