About The Position
RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry with over 32 years in business and nearly 400 team members across 17 states. We are expanding our team in the Findlay, OH area and seeking a Trailer Mechanic Apprentice to perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, a hard worker, enjoys working outdoors and with their hands, and is looking to learn a trade in the diesel industry. While professional experience is not required, previous wrenching experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Ability to pass a Drug Screen.
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular and frequent basis.
Nice To Haves
- Previous wrenching experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with a Trailer Mechanic.
- Help perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers - keeping trailers in compliance with DOT safety standards.
- Essential tasks will include changing brakes, tires/wheel service, electrical work and fabrication.
