About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Trailer & Fleet mechanic to join our growing team! Our technicians work on a variety of commercial trailers, performing everything from structural repairs to electrical work in a well-equipped shop with a steady workload. Experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, fleet mechanic, welder/fabricator, or truck mechanic? We'd like to talk with you! If you have strong mechanical skills, we may be able to train you on trailer-specific repairs.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, or related mechanical position
Experience repairing commercial trailers preferred
Welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers
Repair or replace trailer roofs, sidewalls, flooring, doors, and structural components
Troubleshoot and repair trailer lighting and electrical wiring systems
Perform brake, suspension, axle, and wheel-end repairs as needed
Complete preventive maintenance inspections
Weld, fabricate, and repair trailer components when necessary
Ensure all repairs meet DOT and company safety standards
Maintain accurate repair documentation
Keep work area clean and organized
