About The Position

Hotel Equities is seeking a Trail Runner for the Postcard Cabins in Brown County, Indiana. This role is responsible for providing excellent guest service and cleaning services in cabins and common areas, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing walls, windows, and mirrors.

Requirements

• Work experience as a Trail Runner or Houseman/Houseperson is required.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Good physical health and stamina.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prep the cabin interiors by removing trash, stripping linens, and re-stocking provisions.
• Ensure every cabin’s outdoor space is perfectly staged by cleaning and staging the lounge area (fire pit, campfire kit, Adirondack chairs, and picnic table), cleaning the cabin exteriors (windows, hitch, and wheels), and removing all trash.
• Respond to guest concerns, complaints, or suggestions appropriately, referring them to management.
• Gather waste and/or contaminated materials for disposal in assigned areas which may include cabins, trails, and common areas.
• Properly use and maintain assigned equipment and supplies, including vacuums, chemicals, and cleaning aides.
