About The Position

Hunt Electric, LLC. is hiring full-time Traffic Signal & Lighting Technicians to work on roadway projects involving traffic signals, street lighting, and underground utilities. The role includes working with tools and underground infrastructure, building cabinets and foundations, pulling wire, installing light poles and fixtures, mounting signal heads, installing traffic cameras, setting rebar foundations, and pouring concrete. Work may take place at MSHA surface mine locations, mostly gravel pits. The position may involve occasional long hours and other duties or locations as assigned by the Manager. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Electrical knowledge.
Background in construction or carpentry.
General labor or construction labor experience required.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work scheduled hours and demonstrate dependable attendance.

Nice To Haves

Traffic signal experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing traffic signals, electrical traffic control devices, and power systems.
Design, install, and maintain motor control systems.
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC controls.
Work with tools, underground conduit, boxes, and vaults; build cabinets and foundations; pull wire; install light poles and fixtures; mount signal heads; install traffic cameras; set rebar foundations; and pour concrete.
Contribute actively to a positive team environment.
Maintain dependable attendance and comply with scheduled work hours.
Perform other duties or work at other locations as assigned by the Manager.
