About The Position
Skilled work in the installations, maintenance and repair of traffic signals, and related work as required.
Requirements
- Permanent status as a Traffic Signal Technician with the Department of Public Works.
- Two (2) years of full-time experience in the field of servicing or installing electrical equipment devices.
- Completion of a course in Basic Electricity or Electronics from a recognized trades school.
- Applicants must provide original documents of their qualifying credentials to the hiring agency prior to their start date in this job classification.
- Applicants who are licensed to drive should have a current license on their person for purposes of identification during all phases of an examination.
- Good moral character is required of all applicants.
