About The Position

The City of Edinburg is actively seeking a dedicated Traffic Manager to oversee the activities and operations of the Streets Division. This role involves performing advanced supervisory maintenance and overseeing the operations of the Traffic Division, which handles the maintenance and construction of all city traffic control devices. The position also includes coordinating special events, developing departmental projects, and communicating with outside agencies. Additionally, the Traffic Manager will motivate and evaluate department staff, provide training and development, and offer assistance and support to other divisions within the department as needed.

Requirements

Associate's degree.
Five (5) years of related work experience with at least three of those years including supervisory experience.
Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
Must have a current valid class "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) from the Texas Department of Public Safety with a satisfactory driving record.
Level II Traffic Signal Technician Certificate.
