About The Position
AECOM's Southeast Transportation business line is seeking Traffic Engineers and Designers of all levels to join their growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates will work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects. Key roles include Junior, mid-level, and senior level Traffic Engineers (specializing in signing & pavement markings and traffic signals), and Traffic CAD Designers (specializing in signing & marking design and traffic signal design).
Requirements
- CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects, specifically highway transportation projects
- Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
- Experience in signing/pavement marking design
- Experience with traffic signal design
- Experience in Interstate design, and complex interchanges preferred
- EIT Certification or PE License
- State DOT experience
- Knowledge and prior use of the AASHTO Green Book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
Responsibilities
