The Traffic Engineer supports traffic studies and design, applying knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with traffic impact studies, traffic analysis, and other studies.
- Support project managers with traffic signal and ITS design, and with preparation of signing and pavement marking plans.
- Perform design computations.
- Prepare MicroStation materials, Synchro models, and project reports.
- Perform other related duties, such as field visits, as assigned.
