About The Position

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Traffic Engineer/Project Manager for their Cleveland, Ohio team! This role involves working closely with Senior Project Engineers/Project Managers on design and roadway/highway improvement projects, developing traffic improvement solutions, and performing comprehensive traffic control studies and designs. The position also includes client communication, developing and modifying engineering techniques, site travel for field observation, and responding to Requests for Information during the construction phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of Transportation project delivery experience
• PE License
• Experience/knowledge of AASHTO/ODOT Design Criteria
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, Geopak and AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Experience using HCS, Synchro and TransModeler software
• May require travel throughout Ohio and Florida
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Senior Project Engineers/Project Managers on design and roadway/highway improvement projects
• Develop traffic improvement solutions
• Perform traffic control studies/designs (all aspects including lane/roadway reconfiguration, interchange modifications, IOS, MOT, pavement marking/striping and signing)
• Client communication
• Develop, evaluate, select and modify standards of engineering techniques/procedures
• Travel to site for field observation
• Respond to Request for Information during construction phase
