Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Transportation Planning, Construction Management, or Aviation Operations Management
  • 30 months of experience with Bluebeam, GIS, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation.
  • 30 months of experience with the process of taking raw data and developing analytical models in Excel, Power BI, or Python, Synchro, HCS.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for airport (landside, airfield and passenger terminal) planning for major international airport operations.
  • Adhere to all traffic/transit/aviation design concepts, software, manuals, and criteria.
  • Perform travel time runs for bus and rail modes.
  • Conduct field measurements of airport/transit passenger facilities.
  • Develop, calibrate, maintain, and document PTV VISSIM microsimulation models (or equivalent microsimulation platform) for complex airport facilities, including terminal curbsides, access roadways, parking/garage interfaces, and commercial vehicle facilities.
  • Develop scenario-based simulation analyses to evaluate operational impacts of curbside management strategies, construction phasing, lane closures, detours, and temporary traffic control, including queue, delay, and throughput performance measures.
  • Conduct field data collection for speed limit alteration studies.
  • Develop traffic signal plans and associated plan revisions.
  • Perform traffic analysis studies using Synchro and HCS traffic analysis software.
  • Support ITS-related studies (including those involving AV/CV applications) as needed and prepare study summaries/reports consistent with project requirements.
  • Perform technical administrative duties such as preparing reports, tables, graphs and charts.
  • Process data for various dashboard applications (Power BI or equivalent) used for various transportation agencies for internal and external/public consumption.
  • Perform compilation of data and convert them into information, plans, presentations.
  • Maintain technical files and support documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted practices.
  • Coordinate with clients regarding deliverables, requested changes to those deliverables and schedules.
